hey yoyo people! haha long overdue post is here! was overseas from 23rd to 27th Nov, went to Malaysia ;D took bus 170 to the johor checkpt then my aunt's friend's car to the hotel in yong peng. Actually its more like an...inn. seriously. the room was tiny n the bathroom was cramped. ok i know i sound spoilt, but just stating the facts. it was a completely new exp for privileged old me. haha, luckily still can watch s'pore channels ;p next morning, woke up. guess what? there was no...WATER! yeah, apparently all the third floor rooms had no water, so had to brush my teeth in the public toliet downstairs. in the end, we got a refund for the second night and went to our aunt's friend house to stay for the second night in yong peng. okok, backtrack a bit, that was the second night. during the second morning, we went to see some lucky fishie. haha, u were suppose to try n touch them, n if u could, u would be lucky. n second exp of the trip, the fish were HUGE! i mean it! from head to tail, it could be as tall as me! so there we were, everybody stretching our arms out beneath the railing to "get some luck"! haha, smooth really, the feeling if u r interested. ;D the second night, went to aunt's friend's house to sleep. he lived in a real plantation house. bet not many of you out there in singapore have stayed in one before ;p. it was my third exp for the trip. the house had 6 rooms, n 4 wild-tame dogs. (wild dogs who became tame but still ran wild, aiya, talk to me if you still dont understand ;s ) the house had no heater, so we had to boil it in pots before mixing it with the cold tap water to get warm water ;p then we had to stand n pour water over our heads like what you see in those old movies in china ;p no offense ;) but it was really quaint, seriously, all u over-privilaged people in singapore should go exp this at least once in your life time. seriously. then u will learn to love ur heater more ;p third day, we took a coach up to KL where we then crashed in the hotel. the trip was...boring. watched constantine on tv cos in KL can no longer receive s'pore channels. the hotel was luxurious. haha, its the cititel hotel, megacity, if u r interested. slept like i didnt sleep in ten days ;p next day, its SHOPPING! haha, you wont want to ask how much i spent, but hey, i need to replenish my wardrobes over the year w/o shopping ('o' levels, rmb?) my feet were really aching like crazy. oh, tried this amazing "melting" char siew for lunch at this side stall recommended by my aunt. apparently the owners only work from 11.30am to 2 pm. serious, no joke. its their reputation that earn them the money. we were lucky to buy the last bit ;D heavenly sinful. ;) next day, it was a whole day of bus ride all the way from KL to lucky gardens to Spore's lavender. bushed. back home for dinner at 7 plus n then konked out.
kay thats all. blogged bout the choir chalet another day.;p bye!
